David G. Zradicka

David. G. Zradicka, born Dauphin, Manitoba, 1952, played music (trumpet) and travelled with bands extensively during his early years. He combined this passion with the love of technology, earning his amateur radio license (VE4RZ) at 16, and worked as an Electrician, a Meteorological Technician and a Flight Services Officer.

After studying Business Administration at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology - (N.A.I.T.) and receiving his private pilot's license, David operated an ultralight aviation company. Furthering his education in computer sciences (1980) and other related studies at Brandon University, and seeing the great impact computers would have in the future, David started (1981) and operated his own computer retail store. Through further specialization, David discovered the vast potential of the Unix Networking System, and formed and became President of the Western Unix Trade Association Inc., 1983, - WUTA (tm), A Wizdom Company.

Through further study, and consulting through the WUTA, David has experience in Industrial Robotics, Fourth and Fifth Generation Applications, and advanced Multi-Media operations. David is a futurist and enjoys investigating and promoting areas that lead to the betterment of society and development of the human potential.

As President of the Western Unix Trade Association, he has actively promoted improvements in education, technology and business excellence across Canada. He currently works as an International Networking Consultant, developing cooperative strategies in areas of high technology and human excellence.

David has excellent skills along with a "Scouts Eye" for the future. A "Networking Information Specialist," David can foster connections in business and with interested individuals around the globe. He is an excellent initial contact person and his high energy is catalytic to actions and results. He is well versed in the business applications of computers.

 

Past accomplishments have been many and varied;
The arrangement of an industrial robot donation to the University of Manitoba engineering department; 1985.

Establishment of Unix User Groups in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary; 1986.

Board Director of The Institute of Business and Advanced Technical Training Inc., TIBATT; Winnipeg, 1987.

Co-Sponsor of the first Uniforum Unix Trade Show 1986, Toronto; Developed I-Net 2000 International Database; Organized and conducted Winnipeg's first Unix Trade Show.

Performed numerous presentations and seminars on Unix, E-Mail, Internet, Project Management, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, etc.

Organized for Canadian High-Tech Week (1989) The Toronto Skydome Presentation; Sponsored formation of the Devry Institute Calgary Robotic Club.

Board Director Manitou Wellness Center, Winnipeg, 1990; Founding director of the Victoria Freenet Association (VIFA); 1992. Founding Director of the Calgary Freenet; 1993.

Promoter and sponsor for "The Great Run of China" & "Yes, I Can!" Childrens' Foundation; Calgary, 1994.

Founder and Director of the Terra-Guardian Association and Director of the WestHemp Cooperative (AB); 1995 - 1996.

Founder and Marketing Director for the Cadvision Internet Company, Calgary's largest Internet Provider; 1994 - 1995.

Competed and obtained the largest "Canarie" - Federal Grant for the design and development of the "Bow Valley Wireless Cooridor Project" with associate partner company, Wilan Inc.; 1996 - 1997.

Director of WestCanCuba, Communication and Trade Promotion between Western Canada and Cuba; 1997.


David presently has a specific focus on networking "Information Management Systems." Working with Business Internet Companys, David promotes Information Age Thinking in a Quantum Reality. He believes that networked computers functioning as mind amplifiers will replace the hierarchies as the prime model for getting things done in today's age.
