The purpose of the Seminar is to facilitate trade between Canada and China by offering Canadian Businessmen, Professionals, and Investors an opportunity to meet with Chinese Government Officials and Business Executives, and Canadian Businessmen and Government Officials working in China, on a one to one basis, in order to explore new market and investment opportunities. The Sino-Canadian Economic & Trade Seminar coincides with the meeting of the Fifteenth Chinese Congress in Beijing. At this time, many of Chinas highest ranking Government Officials will be in attendance at the Sino-Canadian Economic Trade Seminar.
October 25:
Canadian Airlines flight # CP 029 departs from Vancouver (to Beijing) on October 26th at 11:55 AM, and arrives in Beijing at 3:26 PM on October 26th (Beijing time).October 26: Arriving in Beijing on October 26th Canadian participants will be escorted from the airport directly to the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, a 5 star luxury resort, built over 800 years ago in the Angling Terrace, a famous garden in Beijing, encompassing a total area of 420,000 square meters. | ![]() |
October 27 - 29:
The Economics and Trade Seminar opens on October 27th, in Macao Hall in The Great Hall Of The People, with approximately 200 Chinese Officials and Guests in attendance, including the news media.
This three day symposium of speeches and discussions concludes on October 29th , and will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and meeting with key Government and Business personnel.
October 30:
For golfing enthusiasts, a Golf Friendship Match is planned for October 30th at the challenging Beijing International Golf Course, located a few minutes away from the Ming Tombs.
October 31 - November 1:
From October 31st to November 1st
Participants and entourage will have the opportunity of touring Beijing, visiting many places of cultural and historical significance such as the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City. The tour schedule is adjustable for Canadian participants and entourage who may prefer to conduct business meetings instead of touring.
November 2:
Canadian Airlines flight # CP 030 departs from Beijing at 3:40 PM, and arrives in Vancouver on November 3rd at 10:15 AM (Canadian time). Participants wanting to stay longer for business or recreational reasons have the option of adjusting their schedules accordingly.
The price for attending the Sino-Canadian Economic and Trade Seminar is $ 6000 US for participants and $ 3500 US for attendees entourage which may include wives and family, (children over 12 years of age), secretaries, assistants, etc. This price covers lodging, meals, local transportation, translators, seminar costs, golf tournament, and sightseeing tours of Beijing, plus a return air ticket via Canadian Airlines.
