The Wuta Plus Wireless Solution! High-speed internet/network access to business customers can be provided using the Wuta Plus Wireless Ethernet Transceiver. Basestations can be established on the cable network and used to provide wireless access to a number of customers at speeds approaching 1.5 million bits per second (1.5 Mb/s). One basestation would serve customers in a two kilometre radius using Wi-LANs proprietary spread spectrum radio technology. This distance can be extended to 8 kilometres for line-of-sight links in low-interference areas (e.g. rural areas). Where range permits, high-bandwidth uplink traffic can be sent directly to a Wuta Plus basestation located at the headend router. Benefits No wired access technology is able to provide such high-speed connectivity at the low cost of the Wuta Plus system. There are no radio licensing hassles to installing a system. One base station can serve up to 10 users in a local area - to install cable to each user in this situation may be cost prohibitive. After the system is installed there are no monthly or air-time charges. For reliable, painless and fast internet access think Wuta Plus.
